Academics from other national and international institutions are extremely welcome to visit the Centre to learn more about our work and develop collaborative projects. We welcome proposals for sabbatical stays at the Centre to collaborate with the team. We speak English and Portuguese. Postdoctoral researchers are welcome to spend periods of study at DOVE. As well as receiving postdoctoral researchers with their own funding, we also periodically recruit postdoctoral researchers. Openings are advertised on the homepage of the website. You are also welcome to send your CV and a one-page letter for us to register your interest for future position, by emailing secretaria@doveresearch.org. Postdoctoral researchers must be proficient in either English or Portuguese to work at DOVE.
Prospective doctoral students should send their CV and a one-page letter of interest to secretaria@doveresearch.org. Selected students enrol in the Postgraduate Programme in Epidemiology PhD course at the Federal University of Pelotas, via a selection process which is normally held at the beginning of each calendar year. Students are required to have Portuguese and English language proficiency for this course. Further information about this doctoral programme and selection procedures can be found here.
